Terms and Conditions


1. CHECK IN TIME: 3:00PM Early check in is offered based on availability, but not guaranteed. Guests must be at least 18 years of age to check in. Photo ID is required. A valid, signed, and pre-approved credit card in the name of the guest registration is required. It is your responsibility to fully understand the way your bank processes pre-authorizations and charges to your credit/debit card.

2. RATES: The nightly rate for the room only is exclusive of any government taxes and or fees. Other services are available at extra cost. To know your room rate, please contact the manager. Guest rest reservation and motel policy forms must be signed upon arrival.

3. SETTLEMENT OF BILLS: All reservations and registration must be guaranteed with a valid major credit card. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover Card. Pursuant to credit card agreements, credit cards are not valid unless signed by the cardholder. Credit cards must be signed. Cash (USD) payment is welcomed with a signed and pre-authorized credit card. All guests are required to present a valid major credit card and government issued photo identification even if guests are planning on paying in cash upon check-out. Checks and foreign currency not accepted. The card on file will be used to charge any additional damage or theft fees, if management deems that the damages we’re done during your stay. 

4. DEPARTURE: Check out is at 10am. Please leave your keys at the front desk, If your check out is outside of business hours, please lock door and leave keys in drop box at the office. Please inform the office if you would like to retain your room beyond this point. Extension will be given depending on availability, a charge may apply for late check out. If the room is available, normal rates will be charged. Failure of the guest to vacate the room on time gives management the right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the room.

5. NEGLIGENCE: Any act of negligence of property policy or lawful obedience authorizes management at their desecration to remove any person or personal property from any room at any time. There is a 10:00pm city wide noise ordinance, please abide by this in regards to anything that may be deemed an annoyance or nuisance. Guests are required to observe, abide by and be bound by all applicable laws and government regulations.

6. SAFTEY/SECURITY: Guests are requested to always lock the door to their room. Management will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss or damage to guest’s belongings.

7. 100% SMOKE FREE PROPERTY: No smoking is permitted in any rooms at any time. No open flames of any kind will be permitted (candles, combustibles, cooking) If you smoke, please do so away from any doors and windows. All smokers must take care of their trash appropriately. DO NOT leave cigarette butts or other smoking materials on any part of the property. A minimum of $250 fine will be charged to the card on file if we find, at managements discretion, there has been smoking in the room.

8. NO-COOKING, COOKING APPLIANCES, COMBUSTIBLES, OR FIREWORKS: The safety of our guests, staff, and this facility is extremely important to us. Except for the microwave and refrigerator units that the hotel provides, preparation of food in guest rooms by any type of cooking appliances is prohibited. A minimum fee of $300.00 will be charged for cooking in a room, including, but not limited to hot plates, toaster ovens, water heaters, rice cookers, combustible, open flame, barbecue grill, burners, heating appliance, or any other item intended for cooking. Open fires, flames or cooking grills, either charcoal or gas, and fireworks are not allowed anywhere on hotel property. A microwave is available 24 hours for all registered guests in each room.

9. FAMILY FRIENDLY: To maintain a safe environment for all our guests, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

10. WE ARE A PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY: However, NO aggressive animals will be permitted. Size and number of animals will apply. Pets must always be kept with the guest. Pets are absolutely never to be left in the room unattended and must be kept on a leash when outside. Pets are not to be left tethered outside. There is a designated area for your pet to go to the restroom and those areas are to be always used. Please be curious and use the pet waste station within that pet area, and do not allow them to be unattended within that space. There is a non refundable $50 pet cleaning fee per room. If the pet will be in more than one room, the fee will be charged for any rooms the pet enters. If we find that you have brought a pet and did not notify the staff

upon check-in, your card will be charged the $50 at the management’s discretion. This also includes service animals. NO

EXCEPTIONS! The Moose Inn will not be liable for any pet involved altercations between any pets or people on the property.

11. PARKING: Parking is in designated spaces only. One car per room will be permitted. Please do not park at the post office, as

your car will be towed. There is overflow parking in the back of the motel. (East side) The Moose Inn will not be liable for any

property loss or damage to any vehicle parked on the property.

12. DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY: Any damage to hotel property, whether willful or accidental, is the responsibility of the registered

guest for each particular room. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the credit card of the

registered guest, at managements discretion.

13. CANCELATION: Moose Inn is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes. Reservations

must be cancelled 48 hours in advance, prior to your arrival date, in order to avoid a 1-night cancelation room cancelation fee. If

reservations are cancelled less than 48 hours before arrival date. If not, your credit card may be charged the full room charge plus

taxes. If you are staying more than one night, only the first night and taxes will be charged. If you cancel a reservation, you must

obtain and save the cancellation number for your records.

14. OCCUPANCY: Room occupancy requirements are based on code/fire safety restrictions. Standard room max occupancy is 2 for

king rooms or 4 for our double full rooms. If you exceed the max number of guests allowed, you will be asked to rent another

guest room for proper accommodations or vacate the motel.


Management reserves the right to add, alter or amend any of the above items, conditions and or policies at any time.

Management also has the right to refuse service to any person, any abuse or failure to follow the Moose Inn policies shall

result in immediate vacating of guest, visitors and belongings including or adding any additional charges necessary at

management’s discretion. Full rates will apply if any motel policy had been broken.
